Is there a difference between manufactured homes and modular homes?
Yes, they are built to 2 separate building standards.  Modular homes are built specifically for a basement or crawl space and manufactured homes are perfect for slabs and piers. 

Can I custom design my own home?
Yes, our homes can be built to your plans and specs.

What size or square footage can I buy?
Typically, 2 section homes are between 1,000 - 2,300 sq/ft.  Keep in mind a modular can be 3,000 - 8,000 sq/ft depending on the number of sections.

Are your prices affordable?
Yes, homes start at about $35,000 and go up from there.

What is included in your price?
Delivery, set-up, interior and exterior finish of main floor and more depending upon the home.

Can you help with basement, electric, septic, etc.?
Yes, Excelsior Homes is your ONE STOP BUILDER…we can take care of your housing project from start to finish.  

How far do you travel for delivery?
We have built homes throughout Minnesota and into Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Iowa.

Do you offer financing?
Yes, we have various lenders that we use.  Many local banks and mortgage companies can also assist you.  Modular homes are handled the same as if you were building a site built home.
